Shopping for a Home

PERHAPS ONE OF THE MOST ENJOYABLE STAGES IN THE PROCESS, SHOPPING FOR A NEW HOME IS FILLED WITH DREAMS AND POSSIBILITIES. NOW TO JUST FIND THE 'RIGHT' ONE!

TIME TO GO SHOPPING: Now that you've done your homework, it's time to go shopping. You should create a checklist of everything REASONABLE you would like in your new home. You should also write down things you do NOT want in your new home. This will keep you focused on homes that will meet your needs. Your lender's pre-approval letter will help you concentrate on homes within you budget. This small task will save you an incredible amount of time.

SELECTING HOMES & MAKING APPOINTMENTS: When you first meet with your Green Lake Real Estate agent we will review you checklist and budget. We will then search across the Four Multiple Listing Services (MLS) we belong to and present you with the homes that match. From there, we will assist you in weighing the advantages and disadvantages of the various homes available. From there we will help you narrow the choices to homes you would like to view. We will then schedule and coordinate the necessary appointments.

THE GREEN LAKE REAL ESTATE ADVANTAGE: Buyers can save a lot of time and have additional opportunities because we belong to Four Multiple Listing Services. We have access all of the properties offered for sale by broker members. We are special in this regard!

VIP HOME FINDER: Green Lake Real Estate's VIP Home Finder System will keep an eye on the market 24/7. All you need to do is sign up and enter your home finder criteria and the system will inform you, via email, when a 'New Property' hits the market. We have invested in the latest technology so you can be the first to know when a new home hits the market.

MAKING AN OFFER: Congratulations, you've found a home you're interested in buying. Now it's time to negotiate the terms of the purchase. Your Green Lake Real Estate agent will assist you in writing an offer that is, hopefully, agreeable to the Seller.  While not every negotiation ends in a sale, it's our goal to try to assist the Buyer and Seller get to the point of consummating a sale. This process typically involves a little 'give and take' by both the Buyer and Seller and may involve several counter-offers to finalize the agreement. This is where our experience can make a difference!
